If you’re under 50, or if you’re over 50 but specifically want automated meetup scheduling rather than manual coordination, you’re looking for something different.

What Stitch Gets Right

Life-stage specificity. Stitch is built around the real social conditions of adults 50+: potentially retired, children grown and independent, social networks that have shrunk as friends moved or died, different activity preferences and schedules. That specificity is valuable — a generic friendship app doesn’t address those particular conditions.

Community model. Stitch offers group activities, group chat, and community features beyond one-on-one matching. That’s a better model for friendship formation than pure 1:1 swipe apps, because it creates group contexts where relationships can form more naturally.
